Our (maybe failed!) experimental Independent Study group would take wonderful field trips - to "all you can eat" Mexican food restaurants! Lovely fun.

What classmates have you kept in touch with over the years?

I'm thrilled to have reconnected with Monte Tatum Courtney and Paula Sue Green. And then there's our wonderful, honorary classmate, Tina Leeper!

What is your favorite quote or bible scripture?

I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord. Ps. 27:13-14

If you knew then what you know now, what would it be? Words of wisdom?

I would have taken my mom's advice on two specific points: take Spanish instead of German and "don't crack those pecans with your teeth"!

What is the farthest you have traveled?

Either Santiago, Chile or Jerusalem, Israel. Haven't RandMcNally-ed the distance.

Did you ever skip school and if so, what did you do?

I think I was too scared to skip, with Daddy being a principal in AISD.

What's your favorite kind of food or restaurant?

Tex-Mex

If you don't live in Austin, how often do you get back to visit?

I don't visit Austin.
