What teacher stands out most in your memory and why?

Ms. Nesmith was the history teacher in the Independent Study Group which was a 3-block combination English and history class during Senior year. Her dry wit and extensive knowledge of history had a tremendous impact on my choosing to work as a teacher in the field of Social Studies.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

After completing my Masters degree and teaching World Geography for several years, I won a Fulbright scholarship to study for 5 weeks in Egypt. It was one of the highlights of my life.

I can only corroborate what all our other classmates have said.  I have grown to look forward to hearing from Ronnie on my birthday and will miss that cheerful voice that always wanted to know how I was doing.  RIP Ronnie.  You are happy with the Lord in heaven.
